Onyx Renewable Partners L.P. (“Onyx”) closed on a refinancing and significant expansion of its revolving credit facility to support its pipeline of distributed solar and energy storage projects consisting of over 100 assets spanning 26 states.

Onyx Renewable Partners L.P. Announces Appointment of Mary Beth Mandanas as Chief Executive Officer

Onyx Renewable Partners L.P. (“Onyx”), a leading renewable energy development and solutions company headquartered in New York, today announced it has hired Mary Beth Mandanas to become its new Chief Executive Officer and member of the Advisory Board.

Mandanas succeeds Buck Fletcher and Dan Swayze, who will step down as interim Co-CEOs and resume as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, respectively.

Acquisition of Solar and Storage Projects in the United States

SEEIT is pleased to announce that it has agreed to acquire a series of portfolios of commercial and industrial (“C&I”) on-site solar and energy storage projects in the United States, together with a 50% interest in the platform that has created them, Onyx Renewable Partners (“Onyx”) from funds managed by Blackstone (”Blackstone”) for a consideration of approximately $150 million. Blackstone will remain a 50% partner in Onyx.

Pivot Energy and Onyx Renewable Partners Develop Four Solar Projects Across Illinois and Colorado

Pivot Energy, Colorado’s largest community solar developer, today announced the completed transaction of a three-megawatt (MW) commercial and utility solar portfolio with Onyx Renewable Partners L.P. Completion of the portfolio represents the ongoing partnership and commitment between the two companies to provide nonprofits, school districts, government municipalities, and local utilities with clean and affordable solar energy. As part of the portfolio agreement, Pivot and Onyx will co-develop each project while Onyx will own and operate them.
